In November 2023, Branch 1 of Mashhad Revolutionary Court reportedly sentenced Zabihi to seven years in prison for "membership in opposition groups of the country" and one year in prison for "propaganda against the regime." Zabihi is expected to serve seven years as the sentences run concurrently.
