Y Hriam Kpa was imprisoned for his religious activity and for resisting state pressure to dissolve his church.

On July 30, 2015, authorities arrested Kpa, a house-church leader in Ea H’leo District, Gia Lai, after he refused to shut down his church following pressure from authorities. 

On an unspecified date, Kpa was sentenced to seven years in prison and three to five years' probation for "undermining national unity policy" (Art. 87/1999 VCC).

Kpa's sentence should have ended in July 2022.

Dinh Kuh was imprisoned for his religious belief and activity. 

In October 2015, authorities arrested Kuh for participating in a religious group not approved by the government.  Authorities accused Kuh and other Ha Mon Catholics of separatist activities. He was subsequently charged with "undermining national unity policy" (Art. 87/1999 VCC).

In April 2016, the People’s Court of Gia Lai Province sentenced Kuh to seven years in prison and three to five years' probation.

In 2014, authorities arrested Khil after accusing him of organizing meetings to establish support for Degar Protestantism, a religious movement not approved by the government, and separatist activities. They also claim that he had informed overseas contacts about Montagnard prisoners of conscience.

In September 2014, the People's Court of Gia Lai Province sentenced Khil to nine years in prison and three to five years' probation for "undermining national unity policy" (Art. 87/1999 VCC).
