Muhammad Islam is imprisoned and sentenced to death for blasphemy.
On April 7, 2019, authorities arrested Islam, a tailor, following a dispute with a pair of colleagues, in which Islam allegedly committed blasphemy against the Prophet Muhammad.
On September 13, 2021, the Model Criminal Trial Court of Attock sentenced Islam to death for "insulting the Prophet Muhammad" (Sec. 295-C PPC). He was also sentenced to ten years in prison for "intending to outrage religious feelings" (Sec. 295-A PPC).
There are reports that Islam's family has abandoned him in light of the charges and verdict.

Asif Pervaiz is imprisoned and sentenced to death for blasphemy.
In early October 2013, Pervaiz, a garment factory worker, was accused by a work colleague of sending blasphemous text messages. On October 10, 2013, authorities arrested Pervaiz. The original police report filed against him reportedly accused him of "intending to outrage religious feelings" (Sec. 295-A PPC), "desecrating the Qur'an" (Sec. 295-B PPC), and "insulting the Prophet Muhammad" (Sec. 295-C PPC).
On September 8, 2020, Pervaiz was sentenced to death and fined 50,000 rupees. Based on the court order as seen by Reuters, he would first serve three years in prison for "misusing" his phone in relation to the incident and then be executed. Pervaiz's lawyer has said that the ruling would be appealed.
Pervaiz is reportedly a father of four.

Shagufta Kiran is detained for blasphemy.
On July 29, 2021, authorities arrested Kiran after she was accused of forwarding blasphemous content via WhatsApp in September 2020. Police reportedly raided Kiran's home, seizing electronics, and arresting her husband and two sons. They were later released. Kiran was reportedly charged with "intending to outrage religious feelings" (Sec. 295-A PPC), "insulting the Prophet Muhammad" (Sec. 295-C PPC), "uttering words with deliberate intent to outrage religious feelings" (Sec. 298 PPC), "using derogatory remarks in respect of holy personages" (Sec. 298-A PPC), abetment (Sec. 109 PPC), and "inciting interfaith hatred" (Sec. 11 Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016).
Her family has reportedly gone into hiding out of safety concerns.
Kiran is reportedly being held in Central Jail Adiala, Rawalpindi.
