Ksor Kam

Ksor Kam is imprisoned for his religious activity.

In September 2016, authorities arrested Kam for being affiliated with the Degar Protestant Church, a church not approved by the government.  Authorities accused him of using his religion as a cover to revive an insurgent group opposed to the government. Kam was subsequently charged with "undermining national unity policy" (Art. 87/1999 VCC).

Kam's trial occurred in April 2017. He was sentenced to nine years in prison and three to five years' probation.
