Wang Xinmin is imprisoned for his religious activity.
On June 10, 2021, police arrested Wang in relation to his Falun Gong activity. Police reportedly beat him.
On October 29, 2021, the People’s Court of Aimin district, Mudanjiang city, sentenced Wang to four years and six months in prison and fined him 5,000 yuan for "organizing or using a cult to undermine implementation of the law" (Art. 300 CCL).
On an unspecified date, the Mudanjiang Intermediate Court upheld Wang's sentence.
Wang has previously spent time in prison for his religious activity. He was reportedly tortured then.
