Zarvia Pervaiz was forced to renounce her faith.
On April 30, 2022, Pervaiz – 12 years old at the time – went missing after going shopping with one of her abductors, who had previously been living with Pervaiz and her family. Parvez’s family filed a first information report (FIR) the day after her disappearance.
On an unspecified date, Pervaiz was reportedly forced to convert and marry one of her abductors.
